On December 9, 2024, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on information about the presence of Khawarij in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district.
During the operation, security forces effectively targeted Khawarij hideouts, resulting in the death of two Khawarij while one was arrested with injuries.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of Khawarij. These Khawarij have been involved in terrorist activities and target killing of innocent civilians.
A clearance operation is underway to eliminate the presence of more Khawarij in the area. Pakistan's security forces are determined to eradicate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
