            Pop Francis kidney failure

Pope Francis, 88, remains in critical condition at Rome's Gemelli Hospital, where he is being treated for double pneumonia and early signs of kidney failure.   Despite the seriousness of his condition, the Vatican reports that he is awake, in good spirits, and has not had any further respiratory crises since Saturday evening.   Doctors are administering high-flow oxygen therapy and blood transfusions to control her symptoms.   The Pope expressed his gratitude for the prayers and support from the world.

In light of his health crisis, the cast of the film "Conclave," which explores the election of a new pope, shared their concerns during the 2025 SAG Awards.   Actress Isabella Rossellini wished Pope Francis a speedy recovery, echoing the sentiments of many around the world.

The Vatican continues to closely monitor the Pope's health, recognizing the complexity of his medical condition.   Although his kidney function appears to be mildly impaired, it is currently under control.   Believers around the world are united in praying for his recovery.
